The LPSCA is run entirely by volunteers and has very limited funds.

We are a not-for-profit organisation which currently receives no financial support from local or national government.

Sponsorship can take a number of forms:

- Donations

- Sponsoring a specific tournament

- Offer of facilities to hold tournaments.

- Marketing support

- Tournament prizes

- etc

Also, by purchasing books and chess sets from the LPSCA you are making a contribution and helping develop junior chess in Leeds.
