Welcome to the Leeds Junior Chess Association (LJCA)

We are a voluntary, not-for-profit organisation set-up to promote chess amongst junior players in Leeds. In order to do this we assist schools and their teaching staff in setting up and running school chess clubs and we encourage children to participate in both team and individual competitions. We provide professional chess coaching and organise the successful West Yorkshire Primary School Chess League.
